You are a leader of men.

We are, too.

We See You.

We Want To Stand With You.

Take Your Place With Us.

Jesus is stirring men everywhere — in living rooms, boardrooms, backyards — to form a real brotherhood.

Across borders and denominations, leaders are stepping into the tough, often lonely work of gathering and guiding their friends and neighbors in authentic brotherhood.

We See You.

We Want To Stand With You.

Take Your Place With Us.

You’re here because someone trusts you and sees you as part of this rising movement. Few receive an invitation like this; every man who does is hand-picked by another.   SONS UNITED connects these bold men, because we’re stronger together.   Step in.

While leaders of many of the most influential men’s ministries in the world are members of SONS UNITED, this isn’t about any one brand, agenda, approach, or anything else.

We are affiliated with no single branch of Christianity or partisan political agenda. We are connected to no one organization.

There’s no hidden agenda. This is just us — an organically forming network of leaders falling in behind Jesus to befriend, encourage and equip one another.

As a next step, please read through our SEVEN TRADITIONS below. Then, consider these two questions.     1. Do these traditions describe you or would you like them to?   2. If so, will you join us?

SEVEN TRADITIONS

( OF MEN LIKE US )

INITIATION is greater than HESITATION

We initiate gatherings of men. In courage, generosity, and humility, we invite our friends, neighbors, and men in need into our lives and homes. We take risks and love boldly. We are servant-leaders who joyfully make sacrifices to bring men together, always seeking to give more than we expect to get.

BELONGING is greater than ATTENDING

We bear the image of God and each uniquely reflect Jesus’ masculinity. All of us are worthy of connection and belonging. Therefore, we offer our time and attention generously. Our gatherings are tremendous gifts from God and crucial to leading healthy lives.

UNDERSTANDING is greater than FIXING

We commit long-term. We walk with each other through ups and downs, getting to know one another deeply by showing up consistently and listening well. We never try to “fix” or talk “at” each other. We believe this is how we grow spiritually — together — and become the men God made us to be.

HONESTY is greater than HIDING

We try to be deeply honest with our brothers about our lives and pasts. As leaders, we’re willing to be truthful first. We believe it’s less important what we know than that we are fully known. And we help each other uncover and inhabit our true, God-given identities in our lives, families and workplaces.

COURAGE is greater than STUBBORNNESS

We believe questions, doubts, and conflicts are crucial to spiritual growth and healthy relationships. We don’t avoid messiness but also don’t use certainty and judgment as weapons. We forgive, seek reconciliation, and always want to say yes to deeper truth, truer identity, and closer relationships.

OPTIMISM is greater than PESSIMISM

We know how our story ends. So, we expect and pursue goodness, transcendence and God’s presence. We are present to the Holy Spirit and one another. Knowing that relationships are built by doing things with each other, and that life gives us enough shared pain, we pursue “life-giving” experiences together.

JESUS is greater than EVERYTHING

We believe Jesus is the source and standard of compelling, trustworthy, Godly masculinity. Our ultimate goal in gathering and living life together is to become more like Him — every day. By doing that, we become good men, good husbands, good fathers, good friends, and good citizens, as God intends.
